À l'occasion du Salon de l'Automobile 2023, Jamie Gourmaud est intervenu sur le stand de Dacia pour parler et promouvoir les véhicules hybrides. L’équipe de Jamie m’a contacté pour créer différents supports illustratifs, mais aussi pour réaliser des éléments en motion design, afin de renforcer ses propos lors de la présentation. Mon rôle a également été de simplifier certains termes techniques complexes, en concevant des visuels et des animations qui facilitaient leur explication et amélioraient la compréhension de l’audience.
For the 2023 Automobile Show, Jamie Gourmaud took the stage at the Dacia booth to talk about and promote hybrid vehicles. Jamie's team contacted me to create various illustrative supports, as well as motion design elements, to enhance his speech during the presentation. My role also involved simplifying some complex technical terms by designing visuals and animations that made the explanations easier to understand and improved the audience's comprehension.
Voici le principal motion design qui sera utilisé lors de la présentation de Jamie. La demande consistait à créer une vidéo expliquant le fonctionnement du moteur hybride d’une voiture en détaillant les trois phases : la première phase où le moteur fonctionne uniquement en mode électrique, la deuxième phase où le moteur électrique et le moteur thermique travaillent ensemble en mode combiné, et enfin la troisième phase où, lorsque les batteries sont déchargées, le moteur thermique prend complètement le relais. Grâce à l’illustration, chaque partie du moteur concernée par ces phases est mise en avant pour une meilleure compréhension du fonctionnement du système hybride.
Here is the main motion design that will be used during Jamie's presentation. The request was to create a video explaining the functioning of a car's hybrid engine by detailing the three phases: the first phase where the engine runs solely on electric power, the second phase where the electric motor and the thermal engine work together in a combined mode, and finally, the third phase where, when the batteries are depleted, the thermal engine takes over entirely. Thanks to the illustration, each part of the engine involved in these phases is highlighted to provide a better understanding of the hybrid system's operation.
Par la suite, il a été demandé de créer des schémas illustratifs plus détaillés, centrés sur la voiture elle-même et sur le placement des différents éléments du moteur hybride. Ces visuels ont permis de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement du système hybride, en mettant en évidence des éléments spécifiques tels que les mécanismes de freinage et d’accélération. De plus, une attention particulière a été portée à l'impact environnemental d'une voiture hybride, en illustrant clairement comment ce type de véhicule contribue à réduire les émissions et à préserver l'environnement. Ces schémas ont été conçus pour fournir une vision claire et pédagogique des différentes interactions et avantages du moteur hybride.
Next, it was requested to create more detailed illustrative diagrams focused on the car itself and the placement of the various elements of the hybrid engine. These visuals helped to better understand the functioning of the hybrid system by highlighting specific components such as the braking and acceleration mechanisms. Additionally, special attention was given to the environmental impact of a hybrid car, clearly illustrating how this type of vehicle helps reduce emissions and protect the environment. These diagrams were designed to provide a clear and educational view of the different interactions and benefits of the hybrid engine.
